The starting point is located just below the Žitnica mountain lodge, at an altitude of 820 meters. The launch site is spacious and long, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced pilots. The position provides optimal conditions for safe takeoff with predictable air currents.

From this height, a spectacular view opens up of the Samobor Hills, Plešivica vineyards, all the way to Zagreb in the distance. Flying above such natural beauty leaves an unforgettable impression that will surely bring you back again.

For beginners and experienced

Regardless of experience level, the Japetić launch site offers safe flying conditions. Beginners can use the services of local instructors who will provide tandem flights, while experienced pilots can enjoy independent exploration of air currents.

Meteorological conditions are generally favorable from spring to autumn, with the best conditions in early morning and late afternoon hours.
