Distance: 9 km

Jaska region is one of the best preserved parts of nature, picturesque villages, and is a true pearl of Zagreb County.

The city is well connected by traffic because it is located along the highway Zagreb – Rijeka, on the regional road and the traffic connection is affected by the proximity of the airport.

The climate is moderately continental and in the area with this type of climate forests grow, wine-growing hills on which are located numerous family farms, picnic areas, bike paths and sources of drinking water.

Of the historical monuments, the oldest preserved cultural monument is the Erdödy Castle, which was built between 1483 and 1489 and extended many times, and a complete restoration is being prepared for it.

In the Jastrebarsko City Museum, several rooms are dedicated to objects and furniture from the castle.

The castle is surrounded by a beautiful English park, today a favorite Jaska promenade in the part where the pond is located.
